Yes. Before your first walk or drop-in visit, we schedule a complimentary meet and greet with you, your pet, and your assigned team member. We review your pet's personality, routines, feeding instructions, and access details, and make sure everyone is comfortable before service begins. No visit happens until that box is checked. That is luxury level.
Nope. As long as we have access to your property, we take care of everything while you are away. Just make sure your gate is unlocked or we have your access code on file. You will receive a text when we are on the way and another the moment we are done so you always know exactly when your visit was completed.
We bag everything and haul it away. We do not leave bags in your trash cans. All waste is disposed of properly so you never have to touch, see, or deal with any of it. That's the whole point.
Every waste removal visit includes a full yard scoop and waste removal, a pet-safe deodorizer treatment applied after every cleanup, a completion photo texted directly to you, and equipment that is fully sanitized between every property we service. We also always leave your gate exactly as we found it. Every walk & drop-in includes a completion photo, a personal visit report on your dog's mood and behavior, a hot pavement check before every walk, and a consistent trusted team member.
We do not service yards or walk in rain or inclement weather. If your scheduled visit is affected, we will reschedule you for the next available day of good weather and notify you by text with your updated date. For weekly/monthly subscribers, if an entire week is missed due to weather we will apply a credit to your next billing cycle for any missed service time. You will never be charged for visit(s) we could not complete.
We do provide walking and drop in pet sitting services on federal holidays and special holiday pricing does apply. We do not run waste removal, deshedding, or litter box cleaning routes on federal holidays. If your scheduled visit falls on a federal holiday, you will receive your normal reminder text reflecting the updated date so you always know when to expect us.
Absolutely. The deodorizer treatment we apply after every waste removal visit is specifically formulated to be safe for pets and children. The litter we supply for litter box cleaning is selected with your cat's safety in mind. We ask that you keep pets secured during yard cleaning visits to make things faster and safer for everyone involved.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the same date you sign up. Billing is fully automatic and you will receive a receipt by email after each charge. You can update your payment method, pause your subscription, or cancel at any time.
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no hassle. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time by texting or emailing us directly. We ask for 48 hours notice before your next scheduled visit so we can adjust our route. If you cancel before your next billing date you will not be charged.
If you are not satisfied with the quality of any visit, let us know within 24 hours and we will come back out and make it right at no charge. If we ever miss a scheduled visit for any reason on our end, we will reschedule within 24 hours, also at no charge. We stand behind our work completely.
We offer a growing menu of luxury level pet services including yard waste removal, professional dog walking, in-home drop-in pet sitting, and litter box cleaning, and de-shedding. Each service is available as a one-time booking or a recurring subscription. Bundle any two or more subscription services together and save an additional 5% per month on top of any other discounts.
Additional pets are $8.00 per pet per month, flat, across most subscription services. This applies to waste removal, dog walking, drop-in pet sitting, and litter box cleaning. There is no limit to how many pets you can add.
Yes! We proudly offer 5% OFF every subscription or service to any Military (Active Duty, Reserve, or Veterans) or First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS, or Healthcare Professional) in addition to other discounts you may be eligible for.
It comes down to how many pets you have and how quickly waste accumulates in your yard or litter box. The weekly plan is best for households with two or more pets or anyone who wants a consistently clean yard & or litter box. The bi-weekly plan works well for one pet in a medium or smaller yard or one cat with one litter box. The monthly plan is a great starting point for a single small pet or a yard & or litter box that stays relatively clean between visits. You can change your plan any time.
Yes. Standard pricing on pet waste removal covers yards up to one quarter acre. For larger properties we will do a quick assessment and provide a custom quote. Just reach out with your address and we will get back to you quickly.
Yes. The Tidy Tail Co. offers 20-minute professional dog walks and in-home drop-in pet sitting visits for dogs and cats. Special Pricing Applies to Weekend & Holiday Services.
Each drop-in visit is approximately 20 to 30 minutes at your home. Your Pet Care Concierge will provide fresh water, feeding per your instructions, playtime and companionship, a potty break, and basic oral medication administration if needed and pre-authorized in writing at sign-up. We send a completion text with a photo and a personal report on how your pet is doing after every visit. We also confirm your home is secure in every completion text.
Yes, with conditions. We will administer basic oral medications during drop-in visits when three requirements are met: written authorization including the medication name, dosage, and instructions must be on file before the first medicated visit; oral medications only, we do not administer injections, eye drops, ear drops, or topical treatments; and medication must be clearly labeled and left in an accessible location.
We will contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we will contact your emergency contact. If the situation requires veterinary care, we will transport your pet to your preferred clinic and continue trying to reach you throughout. We ask all walking and sitting clients to provide an emergency contact and preferred vet at the time of sign-up. All incidents however minor are documented and reported to you.
We make every effort to assign consistent team members to your pet for every walk and drop-in visit. Our team gets to know your pet, your home, and your preferences over time. If your regular team member is ever unavailable, we will notify you in advance and make sure any substitute is fully briefed on your pet before visiting independently.
All dogs are kept on leash at all times during walks, no exceptions. We do not walk dogs off-leash in public areas regardless of training level or owner preference. If your dog requires a specific harness, collar, or leash setup, let us know at sign-up and we will follow your instructions on every single walk.
No. Just like our waste removal service, we handle everything while you are away. We use your provided key, lockbox code, or door code to access the home. You will receive a text when we are on the way and a completion text with a photo and personal report the moment we are done.
Yes. Brushing and deshedding is available as a standalone service, a subscription, or as an add-on to any walk or drop-in visit. You do not need to book any other service to get a deshedding session. We come to you, deshed your dog, vacuum up every bit of loose fur before we leave, and you are done. No groomer trip required.
We use a professional FURminator deshedding tool for most dogs & cats, or a low decibel professional grooming vacuum brush for dogs and cats comfortable with it. We ask about your pets's vacuum comfort level at sign-up so we always bring the right tool. Either way, we finish every session with a handheld vacuum and lint roller so no fur is left behind.
Any dog that sheds regularly will benefit. Heavy shedders like huskies, golden retrievers, labrador retrievers, German shepherds, corgis, and Australian shepherds tend to see the most dramatic results. Short-haired shedders like beagles, pugs, and boxers also benefit significantly. If your dog leaves fur on everything, a regular deshedding subscription will make a noticeable difference in your home. We also offer this service for cats that are comfortable with it.
It depends on your pet's coat and shedding level. Heavy shedders like huskies and goldens do best with weekly sessions. Most pets do great on a bi-weekly schedule. Monthly works well for light shedders or pets with shorter coats. If you are unsure, start with a one-time session and we can give you a recommendation based on your pet's coat.
No. Deshedding is a maintenance service that reduces shedding and keeps your pet comfortable between professional grooming appointments. It does not include bathing, trimming, or nail clipping. Think of it as a complement to your regular groomer, not a replacement.
Your pet's comfort comes first. If your pet shows signs of stress or discomfort during the session, we will stop and let you know. We never force the process. We will note it in our file and discuss the best approach with you before the next visit.
Yes! Litter box cleaning is available three ways. As a one-time standalone visit, As a standalone subscription with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly plans.
We use Fresh Step Cat Litter. If your cat has a preferred brand, simply provide it and we will use yours instead. We never substitute without asking first.
The litter box service is designed for cats. However if you have another small pet that uses a litter box we are happy to discuss whether it can be accommodated. Just let us know when you sign up or send us an email.
Fill out our sign-up form on the Sign Up page and we will reach out within 24 hours to confirm your plan, your service day, and your first visit. It takes about two minutes.
When you refer a friend who signs up for any subscription plan, you get $10 off your next month's bill and your friend gets $10 off their first month. Just have them mention your name when they sign up and both discounts are applied.
If you are willing to display one of our branded yard signs in your yard, we will credit your account with one-time $15 credit as a thank you. If a neighbor sees the sign, signs up, and mentions your address, you earn an additional $10 off that month. It is our favorite way to grow because the whole neighborhood benefits.
